Which just shows how persistent images of a country are once they make it into popular culture.  This idea of foggy London pops up all over the world (personally I blame Arthur Conan Doyle) London hasn’t really been persistently foggy since the Clean Air Acts of the 1950s but it does have the odd foggy day
